

Ihon Holistic Hiring™: A paradigm shift in Talent Acquisition
As we are evolving, moving away from the old paradigm of fear, judgment, disconnection, separation and competition, moving into a higher state of consciousness and self-awareness, a less primitive way of being. This new way of being embraces interconnectedness, interdependence, unity and wholeness of everything. I developed Ihon Holistic Hiring™ Methodology to support this shift, empowering talent acquisition and unlocking human potential.
The Old Paradigm:
Contingency (transactional) Recruitment methods and Preferred Supplier Lists (PSLs) create an expectation that recruitment companies work for free with no guarantee of payment, compete against each other, a race against time focusing on quantity and not quality; this is primitive behaviour for professional positions which impacts candidate journey, organisational performance, brand value, cultural alignment, and long-term success trajectories.
Although being a sole supplier increases the quality, it remains firmly in the old paradigm, due to the 2-3 interview mindset and lack of client commitment.
While Retained Search methods like Executive Search have some holistic hiring methodology qualities, the old paradigm restricts retained search methods to senior positions, perpetuating outdated thinking.
The New Paradigm:
Ihon Holistic Hiring™ is a methodology that uses a blend of science, technology and human connection which considers the interconnected and interdependent nature of everything that supports a successful employee placement.
